A complete set with every shipment: the waybill, the batch specification, conformity documents. A missing document is not a «we will bring it tomorrow» — it is a truck turned away at the gate and a penalty under the contract.
Labelling and packaging
Legible batch marking, an intact bag, a pallet built to the chain's standard. Damaged packaging at goods-in is the most common reason for a return, and it almost always originates in logistics rather than production.
Rhythm
A chain values predictability above price: the delivery window, stable stock, no sudden «out of stock». One missed delivery costs more than the discount that was being negotiated.
What is required of the supplier
- Stock held in the country, not a «shipment in transit».
- Own transport that keeps to the delivery window.
- One accountable contact and a clear escalation path.
